With the UNLV football team starting spring training camp this past Thursday, there will be plenty to analyze before the gameplay begins in August. One key aspect to watch is the competition between the two quarterbacks the Rebels acquired during the offseason: Anthony Colandrea and Alex Orji.
As spring training progressed to day two at the Fertitta Football Complex on the UNLV campus, the battle for the starting quarterback position intensified. The QB room is fighting for the chance to wear the scarlet and gray in their first game against Sam Houston in August.
