SAHARA Las Vegas is the perfect setting for football fans to watch the gridiron showdown in style on Sunday, Feb. 12 with Big Game viewing parties at both AZILO Ultra Pool and Chickie’s & Pete’s Crab House and Sports Bar.

Doors for “The Ultimate Big Game Tailgate” at AZILO Ultra Pool will open at 12 p.m. with a televised broadcast on the 240-foot-long LED video wall. Tickets to the VIP game day experience are $120 and include live entertainment by Big Ben and Fatman Scoop as well as a select open bar until halftime. Additionally, mouthwatering game day fare will be available for purchase. Reserved seating and bottle service will also be available.

In celebration of Valentine’s Day, guests are invited to savor a limited-time menu at The Beast by Todd English. Special menu items include the Valentine’s surf and turf offer with “pink bun” sliders, a brown butter lobster salad, grilled filet mignon, frisée and truffle aioli for $26. The restaurant will also serve a strawberry shortcake trifle with cheesecake mousse, sponge cake, macerated strawberries, Chantilly cream and chocolate covered strawberries for $12. Reservations are highly encouraged and can be made here.

3. UNLV Lady Rebels Home Games

Las Vegas builds its reputation on harnessing Lady Luck but the Lady Rebels made their own for a 13th-consecutive victory Saturday afternoon.

UNLV (22-2 overall, 12-0 Mountain West) made quick work of Air Force (12-12, 7-5) in a 98-57 blowout at Clune Arena. It was UNLV’s 21st straight win against the Falcons.
