LVSBHC and Teyo Johnson surprised veterans with Super Bowl LVIII tickets

In honor of Veterans Day, the NFL and the Las Vegas Super Bowl LVIII Host Committee, with support from NFL Legend and former Raiders tight end Teyo Johnson, surprised U.S. Airforce veteran, Joseph O’Neil with a pair of tickets to Super Bowl LVIII through the #SuperBowlSurprise program. Joe, a dedicated employee of U.S.VETS, was greeted by Las Vegas Super Bowl LVIII Host Committee members and U.S.VETS staff today who expressed gratitude for his unwavering commitment to serving the Las Vegas veteran community. 

This past September, Joesph survived two major heart attacks. His positivity and calmness were felt even while he was on leave recovering. He was able to make a full recovery two months later, returning to work in service to his fellow veterans. Throughout Joesph’s impressive 20-year military career, he excelled in various roles, including civil engineering plumber, pararescue (PJ) member, scheduling and training manager and aircrew instructor. His outstanding performance led to numerous recognitions and awards, including two Air Medals for daring rescue missions.

The National Football League’s Super Bowl Ticket Giveaway Program, #SuperBowlSurprise, thanks the league’s most passionate and dedicated fans by offering tickets to the NFL’s biggest event of the season, the Super Bowl. In its seventh year, the program has provided thousands of fans with the opportunity to attend the league’s biggest event of the season, while also highlighting their dedication to their local communities and clubs.
