Golden Knights Snap Four-Game Skid With 4-3 Win Over Sharks at T-Mobile Arena

The Vegas Golden Knights ended their four-game losing streak on Saturday night, holding off a late push from the San Jose Sharks to secure a 4–3 victory at T-Mobile Arena. The game featured momentum swings, milestone moments, and breakout performances on both sides.

1st Period — Milestones and Momentum

San Jose struck first just 4:22 into the game. 20-year-old rising star Will Smith buried his 9th goal of the season in what was also his 100th NHL career start, giving the Sharks an early 1–0 lead.

Vegas answered midway through the period when former Shark Tomáš Hertl capitalized on a loose puck in front of Alex Nedeljkovic, snapping it blocker-side to tie the game 1–1.

2nd Period — Vegas Takes Control

Vegas’ fourth line set the tone early in the second period. Colton Sissons tapped in his first goal as a Golden Knight, giving Vegas a 2–1 advantage.

Just 1:30 later, Mitch Marner added some highlight-reel flair, wrapping the puck around the net for his 5th goal of the campaign and extending the lead to 3–1.

Vegas continued rolling when Hertl appeared on the scoresheet again—this time on the power play—redirecting a point shot for his second point of the night and a commanding 4–1 lead.

Sharks Rally Back

Despite the early flood from Vegas, San Jose stayed in the fight.

Will Smith struck again on the power play, burying his second goal of the night and 10th of the season, trimming the Knights’ lead to 4–2.

Macklin Celebrini picked up an assist on the goal, earning the 100th point of his NHL career.

With 24 seconds left in the period, William Eklund went one-on-one with Carl Lindbom and slipped it five-hole, sending San Jose into the second intermission trailing just 4–3.

3rd Period — Lindbom Locks It Down

The Sharks carried momentum into the third, but Vegas held firm.

Rookie goaltender Carl Lindbom turned away every San Jose chance in the final frame, finishing with 18 saves on 21 shots to earn his first career win with the Golden Knights.

Vegas tightened defensively, shutting down the neutral zone and limiting San Jose to just five shots in the final period.
