The Las Vegas Aces played their last home game of the regular season on Sunday against the Chicago Sky. The Aces won 92-61 for their 15th-straight victory.

The Aces started the game with back-to-back three pointers by NaLyssa Smith and A’ja Wilson. Chicago was working the box on offense while the Aces spent time outside the arc and driving in. Each team had an over 2-minute scoring drought during the quarter. Dana Evans and Jackie Young each sank a three to put the Aces ahead by 13 points. Cheyenne Parker-Tyus was put in at the end of the quarter, marking her first game of the 2025 season since giving birth to her second child in July. She recorded a turnover and layup as soon as she stepped foot on the court. Las Vegas led the game 28-14.

It was a slow start to the second quarter. The Aces didn’t score until 2:28 into the quarter. Chelsea Gray connected on a jump shot and a three-pointer. Las Vegas was caught multiple times racing to shoot before the clock ran out, leading to many missed point opportunities. A three-minute scoring drought let Chicago get within a four-point margin. Jewell Loyd finished the half with a three-pointer, keeping the Aces ahead 43-45. The Sky outshot Las Vegas 21-15 in the quarter.

There wasn’t much action to start the second half. Each team made just a single three-pointer four minutes into the quarter. Young and Loyd got the Aces back in action. Loyd made back-to-back three pointers, and Young followed with one of her own. Chicago had many missed shots and got points mainly from free throws. The Aces held the lead going into the fourth quarter, 66-46.

Parker-Tyus made the first six points of the last quarter for the Aces. Evans sank back-to-back threes, and Loyd and Megan Gustafson followed with three-pointers of their own. Las Vegas beat Chicago 92-61.

The Aces held the Sky to 15 or fewer points in three of the four quarters. Young and Loyd led the Aces with 15 points each. Smith and Evans were right behind with 13 points each. Las Vegas went 15-for-29 (51.7%) behind the arc while the Sky went 4-for-22 (18.2%). In the field, the Aces shot 54.8%.

Next up, the Las Vegas Aces play their regular-season finale on Thursday against the Los Angeles Sparks. The team’s win on Sunday against Chicago clinched their home court advantage in the first round of the 2025 WNBA Playoffs. The Aces also cannot fall below the No. 4 seed before the end of the regular season. Indiana secured its spot in the playoffs. The Seattle Storm and Sparks are competing for the final spot.
