The Golden Knights are playing their second home game out of five during this stretch at T-Mobile Arena. Tonight, they welcome the New Jersey Devils for the first time this season. The two teams faced off earlier in February in Newark, New Jersey, where the Knights defeated the Devils 3-1.

The Golden Knights come into this matchup leading the Pacific Division with 76 points, just two points ahead of the Edmonton Oilers. Meanwhile, the New Jersey Devils are in third place in the Metropolitan Division.

The Devils have activated their star goaltender, Jacob Markstrom, for tonight’s game. He has been sidelined since January 22nd due to an MCL injury in his knee. Markstrom enters this game with the third-best goals-against average in the NHL at 2.20 GAA, just behind Andrei Vasilevskiy, who has a 2.18 GAA.

This marks the second consecutive game in which the Knights have welcomed back a former player at T-Mobile Arena. In their last game against the Chicago Blackhawks, they honored Alec Martinez, and tonight they will pay tribute to Paul Cotter. During his three seasons with the Golden Knights, Cotter scored 22 goals and had 23 assists while wearing the gold jersey. This is the 6th time the Golden Knights have created a tribute video for a former player.

In the last game between the Golden Knights and the Chicago Blackhawks, a total of 12 goals were scored. Although the score was different this time, similar to the previous game, there were multiple powerplay goals scored.

Here are the highlights and recap:
