Before puck drop between the Vegas Golden Knights and Edmonton Oilers for game 5, I decided to go outside of T-Mobile Arena and interview Oiler fans to see what they think of Vegas Golden Knight fans. To say the least, I was very surprised at all of the reactions I got.
I figured most Canadian fans are generally nice people, but I was encouraging them to talk a bit of trash, but they simply did not want to. With the Golden Knights and Edmonton Oilers starting to establish itself as one of the bigger rivalries in the west conference of the NHL, I expected fans to have a bit of animosity between each other.
It was an amazing experience to talk to such a humbled and classy fan base. Here is the full interview:
