The Golden Knights (25-9-3) are eager to start the new year with a win after suffering a 3-2 defeat against the Montreal Canadiens on New Year’s Eve. Flying into Vegas are the Philadelphia Flyers (17-17-4), who are looking for revenge after losing to the Golden Knights 5-4 in late November in Pennsylvania. The Flyers arrive at T-Mobile Arena following a 4-0 victory over the San Jose Sharks, but they have a record of 5-5 in their last ten games.

The Golden Knights have struggled against Eastern Conference teams this season, holding a 4-6-1 record against them, while they boast an impressive 21-3-2 record against Western Conference opponents. However, the Knights have a winning record against the Flyers, standing at 7-5-1 all-time.

Just like Rocky said “It ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward” and the Golden Knights did just that to begin the 2025 season.
