The Las Vegas Aces (5-7) will face off against the Indiana Fever (6-6) for the first time this season at T-Mobile Arena. The Aces are looking to end a three-game losing streak, while the Fever have managed to reach a .500 record after struggling late in a recent 88-77 loss to the Golden State Valkyries.
Both teams have welcomed back their superstars from injury just before this matchup. A’ja Wilson returned this past Friday against the Seattle Storm after missing three consecutive games due to concussion protocols. In her return, Wilson recorded a double-double, scoring 20 points and grabbing 14 rebounds.
Caitlin Clark, back from injury and serving as the Fever’s offensive powerhouse, has been averaging impressive numbers this season. So far, Clark has elevated her standing in the MVP discussions, averaging 19 points and 8 assists in 7 starts.
The last time the Aces faced the Fever at T-Mobile Arena, they won 86-69 in front of a historical crowd of 20,366 fans, which is the 5th largest in WNBA history since 1999.
