3 Bold Predictions For The Las Vegas Raiders Against The Chicago Bears On Sunday

The Las Vegas Raiders are set to head to Chicago to take on the Bears on the road this Sunday. The Raiders are on a nice little win streak, winning their last two games in a row. I have a few bold predictions for this game, let’s dive in and have some fun.

DE Maxx Crosby has 3 sacks against the Bears:

The Bears’ offensive line hasn’t been good at all this year, (5) sacks allowed just last week against the Vikings and (25) sacks allowed all season, and we’re only six games in.

Maxx Crosby has (5.5) sacks on the season in six games, and not to mention, the Bears usually have a mobile quarterback at the helm. They won’t have that against the Raiders. The Bears are starting completely inexperienced, undrafted rookie quarterback Tyson Bagent in place of injured Bears QB Justin Fields.

It’ll be his first start, and the Bears offensive line has been getting wrecked all season so far, so Maxx Crosby and the Raiders defensive line should definitely wreak havoc in the backfield on Sunday.

QB Brian Hoyer throws two TDs, no picks:

Brian Hoyer is a 38 year old QB who hasn’t won an NFL game in 7 years, starting in place of injured Raiders QB Jimmy Garoppolo. His last game he won as a starter? He was a Chicago Bear, in 2016. He served well as a backup though for the Bears, throwing 6 touchdowns and 0 interceptions when he came in, and I believe he will have a solid, respectable game against his former team on Sunday. Two touchdowns, no interceptions. The Bears also have a sneaky good secondary, but I think Hoyer will play a good, clean game.

RB Josh Jacobs explodes:

Is this bold? Last year, no. But as of now, Jacobs still hasn’t even ran for 80 yards this season, let alone 100+. However, Jacobs has improved every week, and he seems to be heating up at the right time. Jacobs is only averaging a surprising 2.9 yards per carry this season, with only two touchdowns, but he had his best game rushing this season last week, rushing for 77 yards against the Patriots.

This week, I believed he explodes. The Bears actually have a pretty tough run defense this year too, they are second in the NFL against the run. But I think Jacobs goes off for 120+ yards rushing, one rushing TD, to go along with 5 catches for 75+ yards receiving and one receiving TD (His first ever receiving TD), With a total of 200+ yards and two total TD’s.
