LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – Coming off its first season earning a national ranking and its first bowl victory in a quarter-century, UNLV football has seen nine of its 12 games in 2025 picked up by the Mountain West’s primary broadcast partners.
Two regular-season games — the season-opener on the road and the home finale in November — were moved to Friday nightas part of the record-tying six matchups that will appear on CBS Sports Network. The Rebels also appeared on CBSSN half a dozen times in 2021. In addition, a trio of games was selected by FOX Sports family of networks, including two that are expected to be assigned a specific channel 12 days before kickoff.
Under the direction of new head coach Dan Mullen, the Rebels will kick off their 58th season of football on Friday, August 29 by heading to Sam Houston of Conference USA for the first-ever meeting of the programs. CBSSN has set a 6:30 p.m. PT kick time for the matchup, which will be played off campus at Shell Energy Stadium, home of the Major League Soccer club Houston Dynamo FC.
UNLV will host UCLA of the Big Ten Conference in its home opener the following week with a start time of 5 p.m. at Allegiant Stadium. The other CBSSN games this fall are at Wyoming on October 4, home vs. Air Force on October 11, home vs. Utah State on November 15 and the annual Battle for the Fremont Cannon at UNR on November 29.
A visit to Boise State on October 18, with a time and specific channel to be announced, leads the three Rebel games on FOX Sports family of networks. A trip to Colorado State on November 8 (time and channel TBA) and the only non-Saturday home date on November 21 vs. Hawai’i at 7:30 p.m.on FS1 round out the FOX slate this season.
Time and TV information regarding UNLV’s home games vs. Idaho State on September 13 and New Mexico on November 1is to be announced.
