Steve Young, Brock Purdy, Alex Smith, and Jeff Garcia headline the 4th Annual Dwight Clark Legacy series

Hall of Famer Steve Young will join Pro Bowl quarterbacks Jeff Garcia, Alex Smith and current 49ers star Brock Purdy for an entertaining quarterback conversation at the 4th annual Dwight Clark Legacy Series on Thursday, May 16 at the California Theatre in San Jose.

In addition to the four quarterbacks being in attendancethere will be 49ers legends as well as current players. The presentation of the Dwight Clark Award will honor the current 49ers player who best exemplifies Dwight’s spirit of teamwork and camaraderie. The event begins at 7:00 p.m.

The Dwight Clark Legacy Series, hosted by NBC Sports Bay Area’s Laura Britt and Matt Maiocco, is a charity speaker series designed to build lasting connections between players and the fans through memorable conversations. Clark, the legendary wide receiver who passed away from ALS in 2018, launched the 49ers’ dynasty and became a fixture with the fans after makingThe Catch to help defeat the Dallas Cowboys in the 1981 NFC Championship Game. The annual event celebrates his legacy while raising money for The Golden Heart Fund, which provides services and comprehensive support for former 49ers facing a range of challenges in their lives after football.
