Both the Winnipeg Jets and the Washington Capitals now have 61 points, while the Knights sit at 59 points. It’s worth noting that the Capitals have played two more games, and the Jets have played three more than the Knights. Despite having a solid record this season, the Knights have struggled against Eastern Conference teams, with a record of 6-7-1 against them.
The New York Rangers have been struggling this season as well, currently sitting seven points out of a playoff spot. However, they welcome back their star goalie, Igor Shesterkin, who missed four games due to an upper body injury and returned on Thursday against the Devils.
