Tristan Jass: ‘Buckets Over Bullying’ using basketball to help kids

Basketball social media sensation and founding partner of Buckets over Bullying, ‘TJass’(over 5M social media followers) who is renowned for his impressive basketball trick shots will be onsite along with Rob & Rose Bronstein and Marc Berkman from OFSMS for interviews during the pre-game program as well as perform some trick shots!  Ignite’s halftime show will also be dedicated to bringing awareness around this important topic as many of these initiatives are centered around basketball and other sports, garnering the attention and support of younger generations whose lives are impacted everyday by social media.

Buckets over Bullying, a sports-centric non-profit tackling cyberbullying through education, lawmaking, and legal support which was founded by Chicago-natives Rose & Rob Bronstein, whose 15-year-old basketball loving son Nate chose to take his own life after being relentlessly tormented online by fellow classmates along with the OFSMS are partnering with NBA G League Ignite to educate youth and bring awareness around cyberbullying and the harmful consequences of social media and inspire individuals, organizations, and policymakers to come together to address these issues and safeguard the well-being of all users.

The United Nations General Assembly has also officially declared December 21st as “World Basketball Day” reflecting the global significance of the game and its unique ability to unite people around the world. Today, basketball has grown to become one of the most popular and widely played sports in the world.
