Since 1966, the UNLV Rebels ( 9-2, 5-1)and Reno Wolfpack (3-9, 0-6)have battled it out in this historic Silver State rivalry. The Rebels have kept the canyon red for two straight years, and Nevada leads the series with a 29-20 record against the scarlet and grey. This will be the 50th anniversary of the battle of the Freemont Cannon, and the stakes could not be higher for the Rebels.
