WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre awarded Ambassador Status by Nevada Chapter of the Special Olympics

The Las Vegas-based chapter of the Special Olympics bestowed the honor of Ambassador Status on Drew McIntyre as he and fellow WWE superstars joined members for a lively game of bocce at Justice Myron E. Leavitt & Jaycee Community Park. Fellow WWE superstars Charlotte Flair, Titus O’Neil, Sheamus, Reginald and Raw’s women’s champion Nikki A.S.H. joined in on the action bringing smiles to all in attendance.

McIntyre told Vegas Sports Today:

“Because of WWE, I’ve been afforded the opportunity to work with some incredible causes outside of the ring like Special Olympics. To get together in person for the first time meant the world to me.

“And to cap it all this right here, an official ambassador to Special Olympics, that’s right up there with becoming WWE champion to me.”

Nikki A.S,H., who is in town for SummerSlam on Saturday night at Allegiant Stadium, echoed McIntyre’s sentiments and discussed how inspiring this time was for her.

“On Monday Night Raw, we call me an almost superhero,” said A.S.H. “These are the real superheroes. This is so amazing to be around their positivity, their energy. I feel so inspired right now.
