Where Are Our Aces?

It’s the WNBA offseason which means you can find the league’s most talented players around the globe. You could almost point to any continent on the globe and find a member of the Las Vegas Aces. Let’s check in on our team and see how they’re doing overseas.

Lindsay Allen 

After Lindsay’s sophomore season in the WNBA, you’ll be able to watch her play on your trip to Australia. She plays for the Melbourne Boomers averaging 17 points per game and 5 assists. Those numbers give Allen a top 10 ranking team in both scoring and assist.

Kelsey Bone

Veteran Kelsey Bone finished her first season in a limited role for the Aces. This offseason she signed a deal Cukurova Turkey. There have been no reports of practices or stats from games since the signing.

Nia Coffey

Nia Coffey’s second season but first with the Aces scored her career high of 23 points last season. Since the season’s end, you’ll be able to catch another one of our Aces in Australia. She is averaging 15 points on strong efficiency. She also leads her WNBL team, Adelaide Lighting, in scoring.

Dearica Hamby

Hamby had a productive year off the bench in Las Vegas. While she waits for the season to return, she’ll play for Italy’s Ragusa. Dearica is averaging 19 points and 8 rebounds a night. 

Isabelle Harrison

Last season Harrison took off a season to take care of personal matters. She seems to be ready to come back to the court with her signing to Dike Napoli. With a double-double of 14 and 10, Isabelle is looking ready to come back stronger than ever.

Moriah Jefferson

After dealing with a knee injury last season Jefferson looks to get her feet wet this offseason. She re-signed with Galatasaray and is averaging 13 points and 4 assists. MJ anchors the defense with 3.5 steals a game.

Kayla McBribe

McBribe had a great season, earning the second All-star appearance of her career. She’s averaging 15 points and 5 assist with UMMC Ekaterinburg. With the help of WNBA All-star, they should make a splash in Women’s Euroleague.

Jaime Nared

Jaime showed glimpses of promise during her rookie season. Six games into the season she’s averaging 15 points and 8 rebounds for Elitzur Ramia. Be prepared to see major improvements from Nared this season.

Ji-Su Park

After a rocky start to in her first WNBA season. During the offseason, she’ll be playing for KB Stars. 

Kelsey Plum

Sophomore Kelsey plum played an efficient first season in Las Vegas. This offseason she’s playing for Fenerbahce in Turkey. With 9 points and 2 assists, she’s one to watch on the FIBA circuit.

Carolyn Swords

After 7 seasons, Swords’ first with the Aces, she won’t play for an overseas team. Instead, she’ll work with the WNBPA to help establish a new collective bargaining agreement. You can also find her find her using her platforms to encourage people to vote.

A’ja Wilson

Wilson had a heck of a year winning the Rookie of the Year award and becoming an all-star. For the months leading into the season, she’ll be playing with China’s Shaanxi Red Wolves. A’ja is averaging a dominant 37 points, 15 rebounds, and 2 blocks before her knee injury.

Tamera Young

Young showed veteran leadership in her first season with the Aces. She’ll show that same leadership in the Israeli league with Bnot Hartzeliya. Her 17 points and 4 assist a night are just what the team needs.
