Gulbransen then talks with Sports Illustrated Raiders Maven publisher and writer Hondo Carpenter. Carpenter chimes in on the Julio Jones chatter and says the Raiders did have a conversation but were never very serious about making the acquisition. Carpenter agrees the Raiders young wide receiver group is talented and the front office feels confident in the group. Carpenter talks about how the Raiders 2021 draft picks, OTAs in Henderson, and where he thinks the team still needs some players – particularly at one defensive position.
We close the show talking to one of our favorite callers from our Raider Nation Radio show – Rossi the Aussie. Rossi is a life-long Raiders fan originally from Europe who discovered the NFL listening to Armed Forces Radio. We talk with Rossi about his impressions of the roster after OTAs and what one position that keeps him up at night.
