The Opening Regionals for the Elite 11

Long Beach, CA- The Opening regionals for the Elite 11 competition, host the most talented college recruits across the country and kicked off the first cut at Veteran’s Memorial Stadium in Long Beach, Ca. The Elite 11 has an astonishing track record of players that have moved on to be successful at the college level and moving on to the NFL.  13 of the last 14 quarterbacks that have taken home the Heisman trophy award in college have come through the Elite 11 regionals or Elite 11 finals.

What’s done at the Opening Regionals?

  • Check in/ Fitted
  • Height and weight measurables
  • Warm up
  • Testing: 40-yard dash, vertical jump and shuttle drills
  • Position drills
  • Position competition
  • One-on-one drills

  • QB- Jack Miller (Chaparral)
  • RB- Jaylon Armstead (Serra)
  • WR/TE- Gary Bryant (Corona Centennial)
  • OL- Drake Metcalf (St. John Bosco)
  • DL- Korey Foreman (Corona Centennial) (’21)
  • LB- Noah Sewell (Orem)
  • DB- Connor Lewis (Boulder Creek)


The competition also provides athletes with exceptional coaching from college and NFL players and coaches. Not only are they competing to make the final cut, but they are working on bringing their game to the next level. Former Patriots defensive end Willie McGinest was at the event assisting top recruits, to help elevate their game.
