The Oakland Raiders training camp is ready to get under way in Napa, California. After a successful offseason of bringing in highly touted free-agents and a multitude of early draft selections, they’ll all hit the field collectively for the first time on Friday.
This year training camp will not be open to the general public, as only season ticket members or people who are on the invite list will only be allowed to camp.
Important dates include:
July 23 – Rookies report
July 26 – Veterans report
July 26 – Head Coach Jon Gruden press conference
July 27 –First practice
July 27 – Derek Carr press conference
July 31 – First off day
August 7-8 – Joint practice with the Los Angeles Rams
August 10 –Preseason Week 1 vs. Los Angeles Rams
August 15 – Preseason Week 2 at Arizona Cardinals
August 19 – Break camp
Once training camp breaks the Raiders will still have two preseason games to be played. On August 22 they’ll play the Green Bay Packers in Winnipeg, Canada, as well as concluding their final preseason game with the Seattle Seahawks at CenturyLink Field.
