The Vegas Golden Knights will look to bounce back after a 1-0 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets in their last outing.
The game was a scoreless tie through the opening 20 minutes and there was still no action on the board after the 2nd period.
Columbus finally broke the deadlock in the opening minute of the final frame and try as they might, Vegas couldn’t find the back of the net with any of their 28 shots on goal, including 14 of which came in the 3rd period.
Tomas Nosek, Jonathan Marchessault, Paul Stastny and Alex Tuch each had 3 shots on goal in the losing effort. Malcolm Subban took the hard luck loss, falling to (0-5-0) this season after giving up the lone goal on 31 shots in the losing effort.
