The Vegas Golden Knights Coat The Fortress Event last night was fun for all ages. It allowed some fans to be able to go onto the ice and express themselves . The Golden Knights were very organized and had set time slots for the fans that were able to participate. They were given a 45 Minute time slot to paint and be on the ice. Prior to entering the ice, the fans were given guidelines as to what they could and couldn’t do and as to how large their painting could be. I spoke with Jerrett Burke (Director Of Membership Services) from the Golden Knights. He told me that most Playoff Teams are not able to do the Paint The Ice (Coat The Fortress) Event as it takes a week to 10 Days of planning to pull it off. The teams that do this are the teams that know when their season is complete (aka Non Playoff Teams). It was great to witness all the Kids having fun on the Ice and building a memory that will last a Lifetime. They are of course the Future of the Fan Base that will make the Fortress as Loud as Ever.
