Phoenix Suns host Oklahoma City Thunder

PHOENIX (November 16, 2018) – After defeating the San Antonio Spurs on November 14, the Phoenix Suns currently sit with a (3-11) overall record and placed fifteenth in the Western Conference.

The Suns are desperately slipping away from playoff contention with every game they lose, which unfortunately seems like the norm.

The Valley of the Sun seems to have been covered with a doom and gloom as season expectations plummeted quickly.

Already off to a redundant approach, the Suns still boast many reasons for their opponents to be well prepared simply because of how young a core Phoenix possess. With guard Devin Booker atop the list of a young-studded future All-Star written all over him, the purple and orange went and grabbed top flight center Deandre Ayton in the draft from local school Arizona.

Rounding out the Suns next generation is forward Josh Jackson to complete the “Big-3” perfectly painted picture for Phoenix and its hopeful fan base.

The Suns host in-conference Oklahoma City this upcoming Saturday, (November 17) at Talking Stick Resort Arena. At the moment, the Thunder are ranked 1st in steals and 9th in rebounds per a game, extremely respectable numbers compared to the Suns abdominal 23rd ranked steals per a game as well a mediocre 15th ranked in assist per a game.

The Suns are at least averaging slightly over 100-points per a game and ranked 6th in free throw percentage.

Oklahoma City comes into the game with their “Big 3” in Russell Westbrook, Paul George and Steven Adams. The Thunder are steadily a contender in the Western Conference, currently with a 9-5 record placing them 5th in the Western Conference.

After beating the Suns previously in their November 12th matchup 118-101, and not to mention coming off their latest victory over the Knicks in a 128-103 mismatch. Oklahoma City seems to be gelling extremely well in their driver seat as the first month of basketball has surpassed its sleeping mode.
