We’ve reached the final stretch of the NFL regular season and as the playoff race heats up, let’s take a look at some of the best plays for Sunday’s action:

Dallas Cowboys vs Washington Football Team

Coming fresh off a win in Las Vegas and four consecutive victories overall, the Washington Football Team has found a way to win close games and as a result, has not lost since October. Dallas on the other hand, comes into this game at 8-4 and hoping to pull away from a Washington team that sits just two games behind. Ezekiel Elliot isn’t at full health and with Tony Pollard leading the team in rushing the past four weeks, don’t be surprised if he sees a big portion of the workload. On the other hand, this game comes at a crucial time for Washington as the NFC East race nears its end, and this is essentially a must-win game for them if they’re going to win the division. Taylor Heinicke has been great at leading the team to close wins and is making his case to keep the starting job heading into the offseason. Both teams are feeling a sense of urgency here, but Washington at home is the play.

Pick: Washington Football Team +4.5

Buffalo Bills vs Tampa Bay Bucs

Coming off a Monday Night loss to a New England team that only threw the ball three times under adverse weather conditions, the Bills head to the much warmer Tampa area to face the Buccaneers. Josh Allen is a warm weather QB despite playing in Buffalo, having a record of 13-7 in warm weather games. Allen is 0-4 all time against Tom Brady, having last faced each other in December 2019. The Bills have been a better team on the road, going 4-2 away from Buffalo, meanwhile Tampa Bay has looked elite at home, going 5-0 and beating opponents by an average of 12.3 per game. Buffalo is undoubtedly the toughest home game for Tampa Bay this season, and it’ll be a close one.

Pick: Buffalo Bills +3.5

Las Vegas Raiders vs Kansas City Chiefs

Of course we have to finish off this week’s picks with the hometown Las Vegas Raiders. These teams last met one month ago at Allegiant Stadium where the Chiefs routed the Raiders 41-14. Kansas City has won 7 of the last 8 meetings and it doesn’t look like it’ll get any better after the Raiders have lost 4 of their last 5 overall to drop to 6-6. The Chiefs are getting hot at the right time and Patrick Mahomes is fifth in the league in passing, despite having a quiet game in a double-digit win against Denver last week. Darren Waller is unlikely to play and without arguably their best player, betting on the Raiders is a tough sell.

Pick: Kansas City Chiefs -9.5
