Las Vegas, NV – Michelle Corrales-Lewis CEO of The Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame announced that the NVBHOF will be hosting a blood drive this Friday, June 21st, 2019. Corrales-Lewis, the widow of famed pugilist Diego “Chico” Corrales, detailed how the Blood Drive, which will take place from 4 to 8pm on Friday, will coincide with the Grand Opening of the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame at its new home brand-new location on Saturday. Both events will take place at “Headz up” inside of the Boulevard Mall just east of the famed Strip in Las Vegas.

“This event is part of history here in Nevada; since this is the first-ever interactive boxing Hall of Fame Museum to ever open in Las Vegas. It’s truly an unforgettable, one-of-a-kind experience that we hope you all will come out and enjoy.” -Michelle Corrales-Lewis, CEO of the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame

“What we’re doing is, we are actually merging our boxing community, the Hall of Fame, current and former fighters with this spectacular (Charlo-Cota) promotion that we’re out here for today and we’re just giving back to the community- and because we do care so much- we actually want to help save lives as well.

“On Saturday is our Grand Opening of our Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame and interactive exhibit, which will also be located inside of Headz Up as well, and that’s actually a specialty event, so we hope you all come out and meet some of our Champions, hit some mitts with some of the guys, there is food included, an open bar, you name it…it’s your chance to get involved, have some fun, and get up close and personal with our great champions, so sharpen up online as you can try to create a strategy beforehand! We’ll be so happy to have everyone come out and support this because this is part of history here in Nevada; because this is the first-ever interactive boxing Hall of Fame Museum to ever open in Las Vegas.”

As part of this special initiative, Corrales-Lewis also revealed that the first 50 donors that come to give blood will actually be gifted two tickets to the Premiere Boxing Champions card headlined by the Jermell Charlo versus Jorge Cota junior middleweight bout live at the Mandalay Bay Events Center on Sunday.

The NVBHOF’s new home will showcase the interactive exhibit, featuring multiple current and former world champions, and other events such as meet and greets, bowling events, and even poker nights with champions from the present, past and future. Whoever wants to play a poker game or two with the ‘greats’ may want to prepare themselves by practicing their poker moves by playing some online casino games in anticipation.
