We’re back in the studios of CBS Sports Radio 1140 in Las Vegas for live Las Vegas Raiders talk with a full chock-full of great guests.
Join us Sunday morning from 8-10am here via YouTube as we simulcast our weekly radio show. While the world is stuck at home, the Raiders had a busy week in free agency so there are lots of things to talk about.
The Raiders added eight players in free agency and we’ll talk about each one of them and what they mean for the 2020 inaugural season at Allegiant Stadium Las Vegas. There’s no question the defense improved overnight but what holes remain? Will they continue to sign veterans in the free-agent market? Or could they be done until next month’s NFL Draft?
Our very special guest Alec Ingold joins us live to talk about his first year in the NFL. We’ll ask him what he learned in his first year in the silver and black, about his special relationship with RB Josh Jacobs and what he thinks about moving to Las Vegas. Alec Ingold will also talk about his killer workout routine.
We assess the Raiders free-agent class with the Las Vegas Review-Journal‘s Vinny Bonsignore. We’ll talk to Vinny about the eight players signed by Mike Mayock this week and learn about the big fish that got away too. We’ll also ask Vinny what the ongoing COVID-19 crisis means for the NFL in the coming months – especially for training camp timing and more.
Finally, Tommy White from the Laborers Local 872 will be with us with the latest on Allegiant Stadium construction. Despite Nevada governor Steve Sisolak closing all businesses in the state for 30 days, the stadium is considered an “essential” project and construction has not stopped. White will tell us if anything has changed and if under any circumstances the project would stop.
