LeBron James and Walmart Partner up for a good cause

Los Angeles- LeBron James and Walmart have partnered up to help feed the homeless across the country. Walmart already offers dozens of coupons to help people’s grocery bills be more affordable because after all, grocery shopping isn’t always cheap and the helping hand doesn’t usually go a miss. Coupons can vary in discounts, see here for various examples, so different consumers have different opportunities to be frugal and save their money. However, even with great savings, not everyone can afford a grocery shop which is why James and Walmart have paired up to provide hot and cold numerous meals for the less fortunate. James is the spokesman for the Walmart campaign Fight Hunger and Spark Change. With purchasing Walmart products, every purchase secures a homeless person being able to get a meal through food banks.

“What we hope to accomplish together with LeBron is to magnify each other’s efforts,” Walmart CEO Doug McMillon said. “We would love to help this model that he’s creating lead to a situation where it could help even more people.”

With the partnership, Walmart will be helping out James’ high school with supplies such as toilet paper, academic necessities, clothes, and more. “It’s an honor and a privilege for me in my community and what I’m doing here to partner with such a heavy hitter in Walmart,” James said.

James has been working tremendously with making sure that he is impacting the world in a positive manner He finds different ways to impact the world and not just his community.
