Los Angeles– Lauren Ash will be hosting the 44th Annual Gracie Awards May 21, 2019, at the Four Seasons Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles.
The Awards will recognize women who have impacted their communities in an impactful way. We’ve seen how the power of supporting women in media can deeply affect culture and inspire a new generation of courageous trailblazers and for the past 70 years, The Alliance for Women in Media has been doing just that,” said Ash. “I’m incredibly honored to be part of the Gracie Awards and to share the stage with some of the most extraordinary women of our time.”
The honorees that will be honored during the ceremony will be Christina Hendricks, Leah Remini, Retta, Rachel Bloom, Toni Braxton, Craig Baumgarten, Audrey Kolina, Elizabeth Perkins, and Tisha Thompson.
Here is what the Gracie Awards represents; The Gracies Awards is the largest fundraiser of the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation (formerly known as The Foundation of American Women in Radio & Television) which supports and promotes educational programs, and scholarships to benefit the media, the public, and allied fields. The foundation gives $20,000 a year away in scholarships to deserving female students who are excelling and impactful in their careers, as well as the community.
