Monday marked the beginning of Team USA’s training camp to prepare for the upcoming FIBA World Cup.
Orlando Magic power forward Jonathan Isaac participated in day two of practice for the USA Basketball Men’s Select Team. Isaac being the lone Magic player at Team USA training camp in Las Vegas.
Team USA training camp is going to be good for Isaac, This past year, Isaac averaged 9.6 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists while shooting 42.9 percent from the field, 32.3 percent from beyond the arc and 81.5 percent from the free-throw line
Isaac also talked about how the Magic group have been spending time off the court with each other too.
When asked what should Magic fans expect to see for the 2019-20 season, Isaac said, “get excited.”
USA Basketball announced two domestic exhibition games leading into the 2019 FIBA World Cup for Men. The USA Men’s National Team will hold a Blue-White intrasquad exhibition game at T-Mobile Arena on Friday, Aug. 9 at 7 p.m
Team USA begins FIBA World Cup play on Sept. 1, in Shanghai, China against the Czech Republic.
