The Las Vegas Raiders head coach Jon Gruden is already embracing the entertainment capital of the world attending several high-profile events recently, the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s John Katsilometes reports.
Hey, it’s Las Vegas. The entertainment capital of the world and apparently Jon Gruden is ready to enjoy his soon-to-be hometown.
According to our good friend John “Kats” Katsilometes, the man-about-town columnist at the RJ, Gruden is certainly making the rounds catching everything from hockey games to Aerosmith’s latest residency at the Park MGM.
Gruden attended the Aerosmith show, and then reportedly met the band after, with his good friend (and Gruden impersonator) Frank Caliendo. Caliendo shared videos of the night out in social media.
Gruden was also spotter at a Vegas Golden Knights hockey game with Raiders owner Mark Davis. The two were sitting in Davis’ usual west end zone glass seats.
Gruden has also been seen at the Carrot Top show, the latest UFC event (where the Tom Brady/Mark Davis/Raiders photo/rumor began), and at his home site in Southern Highlands.
It won’t be long before “Chucky” is the complete toast of Las Vegas. The city has never had an heir apparent to legendary UNLV Runnin’ Rebels coach Jerry Tarkanian, but our bet is Gruden will soon be just that.
