Pro Bowl wide receiver DeSean Jackson made his debut with the Las Vegas Raiders Sunday night at home against the Kansas City Chiefs.
After playing a total of seven snaps in the first half, Jackson made his impact known in the third quarter. Not in a good way. The free-agent signing hauled in a 38-year pass from Derek Carr with Vegas trailing by the score of 24-14.
Unfortunately, Jackson played it a bit too loose with the ball — losing a fumble in the process. It was a pretty rough scene inside Allegient Stadium.
A game that has seen both Bryan Edwards and Hunter Renfrow help out Carr changed on a dime due to a mistake of epic proportions from DeSean Jackson.
It the veteran receiver had held on to the ball, Las Vegas would’ve been in scoring position in what was a 10-point game. Instead, he gave the ball right back to Patrick Mahomes and Kansas City’s offense. The end result was a Chiefs field goal and a potential 10-point swing.
