Las Vegas, NV – Fresh off a thorough dismantling of the New York Liberty on Friday, Las Vegas Aces All-Star Kayla McBride took some time to speak with Vegas Sports Daily about her consistently high level of play, and also offered up her take on her preferred modus operandi when it comes to leading her teammates. The always-modest wing from the University of Notre Dame by way of Erie, Pennsylvania stayed on brand in deflecting all well-deserved praise for her Championship DNA and superstar play, instead electing to credit her veteran teammates, their tenacious defence and the coaching staff’s strategy and preparation for their part in Friday’s drubbing of the Liberty.

McBride’s fellow Notre Dame alum, first overall Draft pick Jackie Young also took some time to talk with Vegas Sports Daily and describe how she has been able to persevere despite carrying the load of decidedly lofty expectations, in addition to having to alter and adjust her game after being tasked with playing the point guard position for her first time as a pro.

The Aces return to action this afternoon, as they take on the Lynx in Minnesota. Sunday’s game tips off at 4:00 pm PST.
